Cons: cured my insomnia, no back pain, no muscle spasms
"My husband and I have been on Mg SR for almost one month now. We are so impressed with this product that it will be our third order. Personally, I have never been helped so much by anything that I can remember. In our second order a couple of weeks ago, we gave our 24-year-old daughter a large portion of it to see if it would help her with her permanent back injuries that she suffers from daily. So far she's had some improvements in her sleep, more relaxed back muscles, along with improvements in her metabolism. She told me a couple of days ago that she knew that she must have gained a ton of weight because after she started the magnesium, she was eating like crazy. But she weighed and she's actually lost some weight.
I was thinking back on when I was a young girl and remember how I had this boundless energy all day long and would sleep good at nighttime, then wake up refreshed every morning. Well, since about 1996, 1997, I have suffered from insomnia and found nothing that helped me long-term. Lack of sleep was affecting me so that I would be irritable during the day, it was draining my energy levels and seriously affecting my health. For the first time I am seeing improvement since I started this particular magnesium. The brand of magnesium that I was trying before this product didn't help me. I would say my insomnia is about gone now. I feel almost like that young girl again with energy and able to sleep at night. It sure makes a difference in how you view life.
And it's not all about me. My husband was out working on our mower yesterday in a bent-over position for a long period of time trying to pull on a part that he needed to get out. Last night he said that he was somewhat sore, his back was a little sore and some muscles were a little sore. But this morning he woke up and no more soreness. Normally, he wouldn't have been able to do that type of work. If he had tried, his back would be out today. He even stated to me that his muscles felt hard today like he had been working out. He said, "Someone needs to shout this from the rooftops about this magnesium we're taking!"
Another thing we have both noticed is that we are no longer snoring, so therefore, we are sleeping better and more rested. I didn't realize that we would get this benefit from taking the Mg SR. Also, my husband has had a skin problem all his lifetime as long as he can remember back. Things irritate his skin: grass, water, even his own sweat, and caused him to itch a lot. We never could figure that out why he would do this. This has now stopped. For the first time in his life, and he's 55, he no longer itches. It has to be the magnesium.
I sure hope that everyone has many health improvements from using this product. I'm still very excited about it as well as my husband, so excited that we decided to order the large bottle this time.

"This product is fantastic for stopping and keeping at bay the constant muscle spasms related to Fibromyalgia. When I don't take it for a couple of days, they come back with a vengance and then I get more and they go right away again. I reccomend this product to all Fibromyalgia sufferers."

"I have had years of constant muscle pain, joint pain, and inability to move without pain. I found the JigsawHealth site mentioned during a health letter I receive from Dr Blaylock. I received my first shipment of product two months ago. Within a week I had ordered additional magnesium. I have done much additional research on magnesium and cannot believe the benefits one receives from this miracle mineral. I order enough now to insure that I am never without it. The time release feature of this product is wonderful. I am now telling everyone I know of the benefits of magnesium. Wonderful!!! I can't say enough!!!"

Pros: very low insolubles, small tablets, lots of mg for the dollar Cons: I didn't find it sooner
"I've had IBS-D for five years and this product saved me from a nightmarish life. If you have one or many diarrheas a week you are losing too much magnesium in electrolyte form. Yet most electrolyte drinks such as Gatorade only have potassium and salt. A few that do have mag are highly insoluble. This is true for basically all magnesium supplements. And insoluble magnesiums are used as laxatives! So insoluble magnesium will trigger an attack for IBS-Ds. I used one bottle at a therapeutic level (1000mg a day, 8 tablets) without any problems and my magnesium problems went away! (the list of my symptoms was huge). Now I use much less. You must try one bottle. As for cost, check and you'll see that with jigsaw you get A LOT of usable (soluble) magnesium per dollar compared to other supplements, even the 'cheap' ones. Jigsaw's bottle many seem pricey but there's so much more usable magnesium in each tablet. You can take fewer tablets and save."

"Two weeks ago I got back on the restricted carb diet wagon and diuresed a lot of fluid. Four nights ago at 11:30 PM I went grocery shopping (did not have the time earlier in the day) and on lying down to go to sleep experienced eight episodes of severe cramping in my left leg, calf, foot, and ankle. One after another. I cannot take extra potassium (one of the usual causes of such cramps) because I am on lisinopril and it is contraindicated. On further internest research, I discovered magnesium deficiency might be the culprit, so the next night when they started again I searched out my Mg SRT (ordered some time ago, but never used) and popped two tablets. I have had no leg cramps since, and I am certain the Mg SRT is what stopped the cramping. A second surprise, and a most welcome surpise, is my BP usually runs 138/80 and today (after three days of 4 tablets of Mg SRT a day) it was 110/54. Yahoo! Reordering today."

"This is a great, high quality product. I found this product to be more effective when augmented with Jigsaw's Calcium (see my review on Calcium). I received more of the benefits listed in the product write-up once I started augmenting with their Calcium. I was augmenting with another brand of calcium when I started using the magnesium SRT, and did not experience the type and degree of benefit I am experiencing now with the Jigsaw Calcium. I am convinced it has to do with the bioavailability of Albion's dicalcium malate. As mentioned in my calcium review, these 2 products are highly effective together and will be a staple for me. I use 500 mg of mag with 1000mg of calcium per day. Great, Great Products!!"

"I think I may have found the missing link to energy for me. It's only been 3 days of taking it, and already I see a difference when climbing stairs at work. Usually those 28 stairs seem to have a new one added at the top every day and today I can go up the stairs and not have any fatigue or pains in my legs, and not be winded at the top of the stairs. That's a BIG difference. I'm looking forward to seeing if it helps my husband with his restless legs at night and getting a natural handle on his high blood pressure. I will be a return customer, that's for sure! The small bags for daily vitamins and the two snack bars that were in my order were a very pleasant surprise! Thank you to all of you at Jigsaw!! "I have tried a verity of magnesium products over the past year and a half and this is by far the best. Every magnesium product I tried was poorly absorbed and always gave me GI trouble. Most recently I took Mag Tab SR for 6 months that is a form of Magnesium Lactate. What I did not like about this product was that it contained a lot of unneeded additives and has artificial ingredients as well. I love your product as it is all natural. Also your costumer service is second to none and I look forward to continue to do business with you."

"After hearing Dennis Prager recommend this product, I had to try it. I've never been able to handle much magnesium due to the laxative effect of other brands I'd tried. I'm happy to report that Jigsaw Magnesium is very easy on the system, and I do feel it has made a positive difference (I'm just finishing my first 600 cap bottle). I've observed a lessening of the various muscle and joint aches I'd been experiencing, and I can only attribute this huge improvement to the magnesium I've been taking regularly. I'd also like to mention the importance of taking the magnesium regularly, on a daily basis, and in divided doses for the best effect. I noticed the improvement once I started doing this. I'm now ordering my second bottle and plan to continue this regimen, together with Jigsaw's calcium product."

"After being diagnosed with aspartame poisoning (yes, it is really bad stuff), I was advised to take a magnesium supplement to restore depleted nutrients caused by ingesting aspartame and MSG over a period of time. I had sore, tight neck and shoulder muscles all of the time and chronic tension headaches and TMJ pain. I have only taken the Mg for a couple of weeks now, but already my muscles have relaxed. My tight muscles also caused tension heachaches and those have subsided considerably. I recommend this supplement, in addition to a well-balanced, additive-free diet. After eliminating aspartame and MSG and taking a Mg supplement, I feel that my health has been restored. Thank you so much!"
